Greetings faithful readers!
I began writing when I was a little girl. Nothing has ever pleased me more than reading or writing my own words on a page. It has been a life-long dream to be published. I'm still waiting for that to happen, but God is in control.
When I was in junior high and high school I wrote constantly. My journal was not a diary with a little lock on it. It was a loose-leaf notebook where I wrote pages and pages of my feelings, thoughts and experiences. I recorded the ups and downs of an average teenager. If I could go back and read it now I am certain I would be surprised at the things I wrote.
I recorded my hopes and dreams, my crushes and broken hearts--things I burned because of their silliness before I got married. Now my journaling is sporadic at best. I record things that make a huge impression on me. Sometimes I will write for days and even weeks, consistently. Sometimes I only write every few months.
Writing devotionals is something that has become very important to me. I want to make an impression for Christ on others by letting them see the things He has taught me. I love teaching the Bible. I love helping others grow in their Christian walk. I love sharing the insights He gives me during my quiet times--the things God speaks straight to my heart.
I hope that I can make a difference in your life. I hope that I can help you grow by challenging you with the things that challenge me. I hope I can open up your eyes to the meaning of everyday things and that in turn your hearts will open up to the Lord in new ways.
May God grant you all the riches of His glorious grace and fill you with His love!
